The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) announced via its official notification 19,838 vacancies for Constable post under Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police on 11 March 2025.

Online Registration started on 18 March 2025 given an extension on the submission of application deadlines as of 25 April 2025.

The Driver Constable post recruitment with 4,361 vacancies for Driver Constable broke and opened to apply on 21 July 2015 until 20 August 2025.

Selection Process

Phase I: Written Examination Constable examination consists of 100 multiple-choices questions (100 marks), with qualifying marks of 30%

Phase II: Physical Efficacy and Standards Test (PET / PST)

Candidates will undergo physical efficacy tests, including the running, long jump,-shot put and high jump.

Physical benchmarks: Male UR/BC/EBC: Height 165 cm, Chest Measurement 81–86 cm (expansion) Male SC/ST: Height 160 and Chest 79–84 Female: Height 155, Weight ≥ 48kg; running 1.6 cad in 6 minutes

Phase III: Document Verification and Medical Examination

Candidates documents will be checked according to their category, education, age, domicile or like certificates. Medical will be done for fitness standards.
